Band Camp Schedule M-F AUGUST 5-9, 2023 @ HHS

• Camp attendance is required for all Marching Band Members.
• Twirlers will follow the schedule provided by Coach Caroline
• Mallet/Auxiliary percussion will follow the schedule provided by Mr. Caudill
• What to Bring for Camp- Instrument,(reeds etc) Lyre, Flip Folder, pencil, water jug, sunscreen, bug spray, hat, sunglasses.
• What to wear for Camp- hat, sunglasses,t-shirt, shorts, tennis shoes/socks - NO SANDALS!
• Student Section Leaders will attempt to contact all HMB members prior to camp. They can answer any questions you may have. If you do not receive a contact you may email Mr. Cotten scotten@tsc.k12.in.us with questions or watch our facebook page for reminders and updates.

HMB 2024 End of Season Itinerary

Week of 9/30-10/4 HOCO/Sr. Night

Tue 10/1 - MUSIC REHEARSAL 2:30-4

Wed 10/3 - Marching Reh 6-8 pm

Fri 10/4- HOCO / Sr. Night Game

• 10th Hour Pep Session
• 2:30- 4:15 pm Rehearsal after school (bring music for Pre-Game!!!)
• 4:30 Meal
• 5:00 Dress
• 6:15 Line up /Warm up / Tune / March to Stadium - B
• 6:35 Band will march on track and position in front of the Home side Bleachers for Pregame. Seniors- put instruments down, then join your Parents on the field (North EZ). . As soon as intros are over return to band for Pregame
• Pregame 6:50 Music only on Track
• Halftime - Final Home Game Performance for Seniors! Make it Great!
• Change out after halftime -3rd Q break. South EZ before 4th Q starts.

Week of 10/7- Showband Spectacular Week

10/8 NO Rehearsal

10/9 NO Rehearsal

10/11 2:30-4:00 Rehearsal on Main Field Load Trailerafter (Drums, Front Ens, Sousas, Baritones, Trombones, Mellos, Tenors)

Sat 10/12 Showband Spectacular @ McC HS

• Be @ HHS 4:00 pm (3 pm if Friday Reh is rained out).
• Start dressing as soon as you arrive. Dress (full dress with Hats)
• 4:30 pm Load Buses Pic, Clar, Tp, Altos instruments in hand, no cases. Flip Folders
• 4:40 pm Depart for McC
• 5:00 pm Unload -Straight to Ranks by 5 Warm Up / Tuning
• 5:40 Walk / March to Stadium
• Sit Perc/low brass/tenors/mellos/altos/tps /clars/pics Going from bottom row to top row. Sousas-along each side of the band beside Perc/LB Perc/Sousa will need extra room for instruments
• 6 pm- Show starts Watch and support other bands!
• Play stand tune after McCutcheon Pre-Show performance (Take off folders after)
• 7:05 approx after Crawfordsville performs, Move to N EZ to set up for on field
• 7:15 After BCC performs Move on field using Contest Day Entrance
• 7:35 Participation Awards - Load Trailer and Buses
• 8:15- Depart McC
• 8:45 pm - Arrive at HHS Unload and Change out of uniforms. Have parents here!
• Concert week- turn in Marching Horns during class, clean out case. School lyres, mouthpieces, necks, bits etc. are stored in case. Instruments will be reissued for Pep Band.
• Next Militia Band event: Greater Lafayette Christmas Parade - Sat 12/7
